Bali has an attraction for tourists to come to Bali. Bali is a beautiful Views for tourist, Good Culture, the art of dance also shopping art bali handicraft shop with very cheap price in kuta streets, sukowati, etc morethen buy in event and many places owned surf or windsurf. With so many good places there, and local surfers around the world.
Kuta
Kuta is like the center of everything. This is a very touristic area, some called it crazy, some (me) called it awesome. When hearing Kuta, people immediately think that this is not the best place to stay or it’s too crazy. For me, this area has everything. If you like quite place, no much crazy ‘new’ bikers around, you can choose the southern part of Kuta along Segara beach. If you wanna have good beach for surfing, crazy party, then northern part is your best option along Kuta beach or Bakung Sari street or Benesari street. But if you are a backpacker and ready for all the actions, Poppies lane is your place.
Legian
This area is more calm than Kuta and sometimes it’s hard to differentiate which one called Legian or Kuta. Well, if you are confuse, the area where lies Padma Street, Werkudara Street and Arjuna/Double Six street is Legian. It’s kind of in the middle of Kuta and Seminyak. For me, if I have enough budget, I will stay in this area whilst in Bali. It’s quieter than Kuta, close to my fave Legian beach, many good restaurant but a bit pricy and I like the environment where the hotel/restaurant staffs respect local tourists too. It’s about 20-25min drive from airport.
Seminyak
Seminyak can be called the exclusive area since there are many nice boutiques and restaurants. It is really quiet, good for family or couple. Everything looks expensive but there are good resto with good foods there. You will need transport to go anywhere though. It’s about 25-30min drive from airport.
Sanur
I stayed in Sanur once during my diving course in Jalan Danau Tamblingan, near the Sindhu traditional market. I think many divers stay here since there are many dive shops. I saw many elderly tourist too. The beachfront cafes along Sindhu beach are a nice place to hangout. There is a big Hardy’s department store for your daily supply. Many expat live in the area. For me, it’s too quiet and far from the action. It’s about 30-40min drive from airport.

Padang-Padang beach
This coastal area is located in the hills near Uluwatu. The atmosphere shall be very interesting to try the waves rapidly here. With white sand, this beach also offers a variety of charms to be seen.
Medewi beach
This beach is located in the western region of Bali (Jembrana) and not so many people visiting here.
Balangan beach
The beach is located near the coast of Padang-padang. It was not easy to find, because there is no good way to access here. But now there is good road access and the beach is frequented mainly started by the surfers.
Uluwatu beach
Uluwatu beach has waves are quite large and very suitable for international surfers. Around this place, there are many choices of accommodation or accommodation that offers a variety of prices.
